The United States are going through a multi faceted crisis: a financial crisis, a serious weakening of the dollar, geopolitical difficulties in the middle East and Afghanistan, and an excessive amount of external borrowings, all of that combine with an economic crisis.
Within that context the relationship with China is critical to their future.
